Registered Charity No. 1211896

Grant-making in support of young people, wellbeing, and opportunity in hospitality.

The Wafflemeister Foundation is a charitable incorporated organisation registered in England and Wales. We make discretionary grants to charities, and in some cases individuals, working in areas we believe make a lasting difference.

Our focus areas

Trustees give priority to grants that fall within three areas, though alignment with a priority area does not guarantee funding.

Children & young people

Supporting education, sport and training where financial barriers exist, standing behind children with critical illnesses, and helping young people manage health-related challenges, including food allergies.

Health & wellbeing

Grants that contribute to improved physical and mental health outcomes for children, and for people working in hospitality.

Opportunity in hospitality

Backing people seeking training or a route into hospitality employment, and relieving hardship among those already working in the sector.

£35k–£75k distributed annually

How grant-making works

The Foundation does not run an open, public application programme. Grants arise through trustee research, referrals from trusted contacts, direct invitation, or occasionally an unsolicited approach that trustees decide to consider. No organisation or individual has an automatic right to funding.
